Dave Pearson - Senior Pastor

My wife, Kathy, and I had the privilege of “planting” Mountain View Church back in 1977 and continue to love and appreciate this church family and the Roaring Fork Valley. As Senior Pastor, I believe God has graciously given me talents and rich life experiences in areas of public speaking, understanding and enjoying people, arts and music.

I believe God has given me the spiritual gifts of preaching, encouragement, and pastoring. I enjoy a number of hobbies including stained glass work, motorcycling, and following the Denver Broncos!

Kathy, a gifted musician, enjoys a concert ministry under the label of “Piano Praise” and truly is my partner in ministry and life.

My life verse is Jeremiah 29:11.

Jeff Riviere - Family Life Pastor

My wife, Beth, and I are excited about being part of the Mountain View family. From our ministry in Sunnyvale, California, the Lord’s call was clear and quite an honor to come be part of this staff. It is my heart and passion to encourage and build people in Christ, helping energize truth into action. He’s blessed me with a measure of ability in directing ministry and inspiring others. But even deeper, the refining process of my life experience has helped me to better offer my heart to people, in the grand adventure of following Jesus. Come on with me, there’s no telling where He’ll take us!

Beth and I both love the winter and summer outdoor opportunities in Colorado. Humor and adventure are critical! Family, friendships, music, golf, and social gatherings all help to keep our lives full. And of course, our three grown daughters are precious, beautiful, fabulous, and way-cool. Well, you know what I mean.

JoAnn Warrington - Administrative Assistant

I joined the MVC staff as church secretary in 1989. My husband, Jim, and I are both Colorado natives. Jim has been an electrician for nearly 40 years, and eventually his work brought us to Glenwood Springs. God has abundantly blessed us with four children (Andrea, Sheryl, Mary, and Steven), two sons-in-law (Greg and Cody), and four grandchildren (James, Taryn, Ivy, and Silas).

I love the people of MVC and feel so blessed to have the opportunities my job give me to come alongside them. I am also currently involved with women’s ministry. Jim loves to sing, serves as an Elder / Shepherd, and is MVC's “resident electrician.”

Jim and I love time with our kids and grandkids (and extended family too), enjoy living in the beautiful Colorado Rockies, have fun cheering for the Denver Broncos, and enjoy exploring on Jim’s ‘81 Honda Silver Wing.
The most exciting thing in each of our lives is growing in our relationship with God and discovering the depths of His love for us.

My life verse is Zephaniah 3:17.

Lori Elrod - Facilities Manager

I moved from the Denver area to Carbondale in 1999 with my husband, Larry, who is a custom home builder and general contractor. We have 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren. Our absolute favorite pastime is spending time with our grandchildren, Jordan, Taylor, Ayden, and Logan.

I joined the MVC staff in May of 2005. I love interacting and connecting with all the different ministries. I believe God has given me the privilege of blessing others with joy and laughter. Larry and I are currently involved with personal evangelism and children’s ministries.

My favorite things are sports, long earrings, and laughter.

My life verse is Philippians 4:8.
